Bugzilla Bug 133

if an .r file is present it does say it wants to import something, and even 
displays the notice that passwords should be reentered. Then crashes.
for a fresh installation, it displays the language selector, then chrashes.

Do you have any plugins loaded? (Are they updated with current builds?)

Obviously it doesn't just crash here. I'll fire up my token windows 2000 box
tonight and check on that too.

i do have ssl loaded on the upgrade, but offcource none on the fresh install.

I tried an XP machine, and there it starts OK.

i will try the debug now

this is the content of the crashdata.txt from the debug build.
Is this the info you need from the debug build, or should there be some output 
somewhere else?

To try to help (especially after the help you have given me today!), have also 
run this on a Win2K machine I have.

It does crash after language select with the reports similar to above (though i 
note the line number is different - maybe because this is the first run and 
below isn't????):
