I want to filter e-mail on Polish subject looking like

Wej?cie z adresu [...] (human readable)

=?UTF-8?Q?Wej=C5=9Bcie z adresu [...] (the same, encoded in mail source)

I'd like to filter mail on "Subject starts with", but none of ("Wej?cie",
"Wej=C5=9Bcie") is matching.

It's pointless to post bugs in such buggy interface!

Your bugzilla does not handle international characters properly, so I cannot
show them, you see '?' marks instead.

I wrote Wej[s-with-an-accent-above]cie, not Wej?cie.

AFAIK current version of Bugzilla is 4.1.1, so your 2.22.7 junk is pretty
outdated.

BTW, my surname is scrambled by your Bugzilla as well, so I was forced to
replace original Polish character with its 7-bit substtitute. Please wake up!

Please post some details to me in email, that should preserve the characters.
I'll have a look at it today.

I've tried to reproduce and so far it's all working for me. Can you try your
filter again, but this time with Filters->Log Filter Activity switched on?
That'll produce a FilterLog.txt in your Scribe folder, which should explain
whats go on in the guts of the filtering system.

One thing I find helpful when debugging filters is to move all the filters you
aren't interested in into a different sub-folder and have just the filter
you're testing in the /Filters sub-folder.

I'm very sorry, but currntly I have no time to investigate this. Please be
patient a little more.

In the meantime i have 1 idea about difference between my and your example.
I've stripped my reported subject to protect some sensitive data. In fact, my
subject was longer and was splited while encoding.
Maybe this issue relates to splitting?
