Kick up the bum
Date: 27/2/2004
If you use Linux then this is something you've probably experienced at some point. I so totally agree with the sentiment expressed by ESR. I've been there over and over and over. The whole Linux comunity should take this as a kick up the bum to get their software into the new millenium where noob's can pick it up without knowing that configuration is stored in /etc.

Myself included.

So I went and put a few context sensitive help buttons on the settings and account windows of Scribe to make myself feel better. If you have personally experienced something like this with my software then a heres a heartfelt 'sorry' from me. With that in mind, you can also let me know of anything that would've improved your user experience. Like a suggestion to put a "help" button on that form or an explaination of that "feature" in the help file would get a more sympathetic ear from me right now. So fire away people!

:)
