Regarding your post on the naming of the Gnome Desktop (~/gnome-desktop) have you looked through the gconf editor for anything that might be configurable? I haven't so I can't help you with this, but it was just a thought. |

I didn't know about Gnome's editor... but there doesn't seem to be any option for the desktop folder path that I can see. |
