Damien 10/03/2005 10:58am | Hi,
I try to use the popoverhttp protocol. I've created an account on the website, the parameters are completed (i try to use specificaly the new feature "External Pop mail fetch). When I try to connect, I've got this message in the log : ---------------------------------------------------------------------- GET http://www.popoverhttp.com/users/dnaton:?token=269251883 HTTP/1.0 Authorization: Basic ZG5hdG9uOlNQRUVETw== HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found Date: Thu, 10 Mar 2005 10:49:24 GMT Server: Apache/1.3.33 (Unix) Resin/3.0.8 mod_auth_passthrough/1.8 mod_log_bytes/1.2 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 mod_ssl/2.8.22 OpenSSL/0.9.7a PHP-CGI/0.1b Connection: close Content-Type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1 -------------------------------------------------------------------------- In the help, you say to check the HTTP proxy settings on the connection tab in the Scribe options. Ok but what does I put in this option ? Sincerly Damien |
fret 10/03/2005 11:12am | The server URL is http://www.popoverhttp.com/users/dnaton/ not: http://www.popoverhttp.com/users/dnaton: |
11/03/2005 11:59am | I've correct my mistake but I still have a problem.
See the log behind. The connection is good but no messages come from the server. However, I've got some messages on my webmail. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- GET http://www.popoverhttp.com/users/dnaton/?token=358963021 HTTP/1.0 Authorization: Basic ZG5hdG9uOnNwZWVkbw== HTTP/1.1 200 OK Date: Fri, 11 Mar 2005 11:44:37 GMT Server: Apache/1.3.33 (Unix) Resin/3.0.8 mod_auth_passthrough/1.8 mod_log_bytes/1.2 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 mod_ssl/2.8.22 OpenSSL/0.9.7a PHP-CGI/0.1b X-Powered-By: PHP/4.3.10 Connection: close Content-Type: text/plain ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here is what I have configure on the popoverhttp website What's wrong ? |

fret 11/03/2005 12:21pm | Ohhh, now that was a hard one ;)
Dude, your POP password is case sensitive. I've er... corrected it for you. It's working now, 4 messages came through. |
11/03/2005 12:30pm | Thanks,
Now, it work...but not all. My 4 messages come but with no "From", no "subject", no "date sent" and no "body" :-(( The log say nothing : for him, all is good !! For the image in my post, I've a problem : do you permit that or not ? I use the web site ImageShack (http://imageshack.us) |
fret 11/03/2005 1:03pm | Ok I'm a dill... I didn't test a fix for something else in the script... and well it broke it.
So I've fixed that up and it should work now. :( |
fret 13/03/2005 11:46pm | Is it working now? |
15/03/2005 10:51am | Hi Matthew,
sorry for the delay : not enough time last week. Yes, it work fine. Thanks for the support. It's a good way for me to have my mails when I am on my office. One question : is it on your plan to make the same with SMTP (smtpoverhttp) :-)) ? My office filter pop3 and smtp !!! |
