Angus 10/08/2005 9:02am | It says it does on the tin – but not for me (95B).
I'm deliberately trying old software for a schools/UK Cadet project using HF radio/e-mail software where i.Scribe is recommended. There are lots of old laptops (that still work – often unused!) lying around – almost for the taking! (and it doesn't really matter if it gets lost/someone drives over it). However, all I get (on install) is the message ' The DGI.DLL file cannot start. Check the file to determine the problem.' Is it me? |
fret 10/08/2005 12:13pm | I have never heard of "Dgi.dll". You don't mean Lgi.dll do you? |
Angus 10/08/2005 12:52pm | Well, yes and no!
That's exactly (as written) what popped-up in front of my very eyes! It means something to you? A. |
Angus 10/08/2005 12:55pm | Apologies – I should have engaged brain before replying...
Just tried to load program again (same for 8.17 and test10) and it says, 'LGI.DLL' and not 'DGI.DLL'. My fault... A. |
fret 10/08/2005 1:05pm | Lgi.dll is my GUI library and I think it's because Win95 doesn't have Imm32.dll which Lgi depends on. Hence it shows that error.
I've known about this for a while... but I don't have a win95 install disk anymore. |
