| Kay 20/07/2020 10:38pm | When viewing Mails in HTML mode, to open Hyperlinks in the browser, one currently has to double-click links (it took me a moment to find out). To my understanding, opening hyperlinks via single-click would be more intuitive (and probably follow common userinterace standards). |
| fret 21/07/2020 7:36am | I'm aware that it diverges from the standard behaviour. The reasoning behind that is that it makes it easier to select the text of the link to copy it. Sometimes I want to copy the text, and sometimes I want to open the link. Being able to left click drag to select without the URL opening is easier.
Browsers have pretty much standardized on Alt/Option+Left click drag for selection and just Left Click for open. So if people think that is better I'm open to changing it. |
