I tried to install beta36 over existing beta35, and got this message upon attempting to start InScribe: Application failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. This happens whether I try to start from the desktop shortcut or start menu. Full uninstall, including manual registry clean, followed by a registry clean utility, and reinstall, does not change anything. Any ideas? Thanks. |
| fret 10/10/2011 10:02am | I built beta36 with a new compiler: Visual Studio 2005, and
so I probably haven't done something right in terms of settings things up correctly for release in the installer. I'll have to investigate the situation and get back to you. |

If any further info is needed, I'll see what I can do. In the dialog box stating the failure, there was also a note saying that the problem might be traceable by running systrace.exe through DOS. However, apparently I don't have that on my comp. Anyway... |
