Death By Paper Cuts
Date: 8/1/2008
Just a small slice of the Scribe todo list:
  • Bug 174
  • Check filter ranking works or not.
  • New filter action: Copy
  • Can't mark whole folder as read.
  • Better export/import functionality, maybe using a standard UI over all the i/e methods with built in replication facilities.
  • Html editing? *sigh*
  • Bug 173
  • User definable keyboard shortcuts.
  • Google Calendar sync.
  • [Linux] Complete Gnome WM support.
  • [Linux] Fix the window layout problems. (Getting worse in recent releases of X)
  • [Mac] Ship something... anything...
  • [Win32] Fixed the damn dead keys in the svn trunk. The experiment with not using TranslateMessage failed. I have no way of reproducing the dead key part of TranslateMessage's functionality.
  • Move message keyboard shortcuts.
  • Bug 172

In no particular order. Thats why there is never any work on "v2" or the big changes like fixing IMAP. Because there is always a flood of little things to fix. Or I get tired and go to bed early ;)

Mostly windows but as time goes on I'm using the mac more. I've got a macbook and it's nice and portable. I prefer debugging on windows because it's got better tools for that and seems faster to do somethings.

I only use linux for supporting that port. Not for anything useful.
